Field Staff

BERTHA RAMIREZ ROZAS
Field Coordinator

A native of Peru and an experienced teacher, Bertha served as director of the Hueco Uno School, a collaborative project of Heart Walk Foundation and village families. In recent years she devotes her efforts to work directly with Q’ero communities. She treks into the remote villages eight or more times a year, enduring hardships and severe weather, to implement and oversee HWF funded projects.  In 2010 Bertha learned to use a computer, and in her monthly  email reports she expresses her gratitude – and the deep gratitude of the Q’ero people — for the generosity of HWF supporters and donors.
